What is orthotics?

Major population in the world suffers from feet problems which begin with pain and can lead to other complications. Feet problems can be caused by excessive walking, running, standing for too long, playing extreme sports or any kind of injury on your feet or lower body parts. Athletes and runners can suffer from chronic feet pains. People of older age also suffer from many kinds of feet illness. Orthotics also commonly known as shoe inserts are basically foot supports places inside of your shoes are used to treat these problems. They comfort you while walking running and doing other physical activities.

Types of Material used in making orthotics

You can choose from the wide range of material available in the market as per your requirement because every material has different quality. if you go for custom-made shoe inserts. Thermoplastics, Polypropylene, Subortholen family, Acrylic Composite carbon fibres, Cork, Leather, Polyethylene foams are some popularly used materials in making of shoe insoles. You can classify these materials into rigid, soft and semi-rigid materials.
